Amber Icke and Yolanda Columbus from Texas A & M University recently did a presentation at the TxDLA conference about lessons they had learned while implementing the open source learning management system Moodle. Below they each say a few words about online learners and the most important elements in an end of course evaluation system.

Most schools have moved away from the pencil and paper delivery but are the quick fix surveys enough to automate the data collection process, organize it, and provide schools with reports that make it meaningful? This week we have reached a milestone! On Sunday, March 21st at 9:48 pm, our 500,000th student took READI! Prior to the milestone we had a contest for all READI admins to guess when this would happen. Debbie Huffman from North Central Texas College guessed the closest time/date without going over.
